Bettina König
Medical Director
Bettina joined AbbVie (Abbott) in 2007 as Medical Advisor for HIV in Germany. Over the years she held roles with increased responsibility, leading teams across various therapeutic areas. In 2020, Bettina took on the interim position as Medical Director in the Austrian affiliate and in 2021 she joined AbbVie Switzerland as Medical Director. Before joining AbbVie Bettina worked on her doctorate and dedicated her research to immunology.
Bettina is a biologist by training and holds a Master’s degree of science and a PhD in Biology from University of Mainz.
