Business Unit Director Specialties
Christian joined AbbVie in 2018 as Business Unit Manager Oncology, and in 2021 he took on additional responsibility as Business Unit Director Oncology, to lead the newly formed oncology franchise. In September 2024 he took responsibility as Business Unit Director for the Specialties department.
Prior to joining AbbVie, Christian held a broad variety of commercial roles (National Sales Leader, Brand Management, and International Project Management). He has more than 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Christian holds a Master’s degree in Marketing, Services and Communication Management from the University of St. Gallen, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen.
